I heard that it is possible that to turn on the weapon & intel range by editting the game.perf file. I have to do this because I cannot turn on my intel nor weapon range in the interface option in game. Can someone put an example of their game.perf with both ranges turned on (either you turned it on in game or editting the game.perf will be fine. I just need an example of the game.perf)??? I would really appreciate that.
to get to the game.perf file,
for Vista & 7 :
C:\Users\**USERNAME**\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander 2
for XP
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander 2
Thank You
Gordon|||in the interface you can change them from no to yes. or is that not working for you?|||There are two rows of option there; the game does not allow me to change any options that are in the second row....
The thing is that whenever you go to any option there, the one that the mouse cursor is pointing at will be showing in back-lit, right? in my game, all the second choice in hte interface setting do not show the back-lit. when I clicked on them, the game does not allow me to change to that option, since turn intel & radar range on is in the second choice.|||weird.
Have you tried to delete game.prefs?|||I did. it still does the same thing for me
Would you mind posting your game.perf on here so i can take a look how to turn it on by editting the file....??|||let me turnt hem on and i post teh wole think for you :)|||Quote:|||There are in game key combinations that allow you to turn them on and off, ctrl-I for intel, ctrl-W for range|||i am not sure that might work as he can't even change then in the options and thay are just shortcuts to the options to turn on or off.
BUT WORTH A TRY
wow the shortcut key binding bypass the options oh..|||You're welcome :)|||NuclearPizza
