Should the Noah Unit Cannon be excluded when there is no Art

Im just curious as to what the community thinks.|||Yes, and so should the space temple. (And probably the magnetron since most no-arty games are also no-air and magnetrons negates all land, which on large maps their speed does if not for the no air.)|||Funk just has no clue what do in late game. Don't mind him. Noah isn't arty though, so it's fine. Neither is a space temple. Neither is a magnetron.|||Noah's presently blocked by arty rule though... noah is certainly most like arty. Space temple is also a lot like arty in function, though not in any other way. Magnetron is not like arty in any way, I will concede... but there's no way to ban it without banning XPs.|||There should be a "no killing me from across the map soley with structures within your own base" That disables artillery, nukes and exp's like the temple or noah. Maybe even conversion, too.
I'd call that exclusion "No Faggotry"|||you racist|||Maybe Noah, Space Temple, and Magnetron should be called "Unconventional Transporters" and have a exclusion for those? They all move units using weird methods.|||X-Cubed|||X-Cubed|||Indeed, I think that the Noah should not be excluded from no-arty games. It is meant for base to base warfare like arty, but the way to defend against it is radically different than from defending against artillery. So lumping them together in one exclusion is just dumb.
Instead, there should be a rule that disables the Noah, Temple and Magnetron.|||It shouldn't be, it's more like a form of transportation (and rather fast manufacturing) than arty.|||FunkOff|||Exclusion games don't have to be balanced. All we want is the option to switch on/off arty separately from Temple/Noah/Magnetron. If some settings result in retarded gameplay doesn't really matter.
BTW, there are already plenty of settings possible that result in retarded gameplay.|||Vleessjuu|||Nephylim|||Have a "No experimental structures (Except gantries)" exclusion. Do the same for the other three unit types for completeness.|||Manta|||Anyone miss the exclusion style of TA? It was so nice being able to select any individual unit or structure to exclude...
Anyways, I don't think the NOAH should be excluded in the no artillery exclusion. I don't define the NOAH as artillery. As mentioned before, it is just a quick way to build and transport land units.
It really should fall under a different exclusion.|||Btw, does the bubbledown count as arty? I just thought of it... It probably does, and its good, because then the aeon lose something with the arty exclusion as well|||Nephylim|||RPhilMan1|||Nephylim|||Ok, so here is what I would like to see.
For no artillery, the exclusions would be
-Cybran LRA
-UEF LRA
-UEF Disruptor
In this, the UEF get a bit gimped and the Aeon a freebee
I'd also like to see an exclusion for Major Experimental Structures
-Aeon Space Temple
-Aeon Loyalty Gun
-Cybran Magnatron
-UEF Unit Cannon
This time the Aeon gets gimped a bit, but it balances out with the no arty exclusion.

Most times, I'd imagine both exclusions being used in games. However, I still like the notion of keeping them separate for more customizations.|||-The-Baron-|||Nephylim
