With this tool you can:
- start replays of any version
- view replay details directly (players, map, version, etc.)
- search and sort replays (filter replays by your needs)
- download live replays
- place your replays wherever you want and organize them with the replay manager
It comes with a standalone version chooser, that is able to switch back the game to a particular patch level. That makes it possible to view older replays. The version chooser also comes into place, when you double-click a replay within explorer. That means you dont need to rename downloaded replays anymore. The needed game and patchlevel is detected by the version chooser and used to start the replay correctly.

jls|||I don't understand, does it come with all the patches and such ?|||No, the main download [1,2MB] doesnt contain any patch packs. But the patch packs are very small (300-700KB).
When you start the program you can select "Patches" in the navigation. Then it should show the "installed" and "not installed" packs. Double-click an entry to download and install it. Till now it only supports online installation of packs. Offline pack installation will come with any of the next versions.
Some more information can be found at SupComReplayManager under chapter "Patches". Also see "Supported Versions".|||added support for SC version 1.10.3254. It is now available and installable through the patch list.|||fixed problem with installing pack 1.10.3260|||very nice. Will try this soon.
Keep up the good work.
- new feature: live replay downloader (see screen below or here => "Live Replays" chapter)
- fixed serveral crashes of VersionChooser
- display more infos during patch download/installation
- error handling stuff
- showing replays without mention case-sensitivity
- other bugfixes
- optimizing installer
|||- updated patch list with SC patch 1.10.3280 (only for detection)- updated patch list with SC patch 1.10.3269 (now its installable)
because of the new patch, the SC patches 1.10.3260 and below are broken (as expected
).i'll release a new version within the next days to fix this issue.|||wow the livereplay downloader is awesome (if it works, havent tested it yet but I trust you^^)|||seem there's a bug where you must have vanilla installed to install the program, it won't install with just FA ..|||can you describe the bug a little bit more, please? if i've only install FA i can install it without any problems. did you get an error while runing the installer or is there another problem?|||when I install it with only FA is couldn't detect either of them, when I installed supcom vanilla it worked fine.|||version 0.7.1 released
- version chooser now activates dependend packs
- you are now able to uninstall packs
With that you are able to start replays of SC/Vanilla version between 1.10.3260 and 1.10.3254 again (see supported versions list).
Supertribe|||added support for SC version 1.10.3251;|||Sounds great - keep up the good work.|||yes codeyla, i'll do it .. as far as people are using it and i've enough time. But the next update will take a bit longer ..
Today i've noticed, that it's not working under vista x64. Maybe it fails on any x64 OS. So i'll fix that to support more platforms. Also a few features need to be finished before the next release. But IMHO the current version is really stable. :)|||very great job , i'm happy you follow my work :)|||I too get the error message: "At least you have to install 'Supreme Commander' or 'Forded Alliance' to use this tool!"
I have both supcom and FA installed, but not in c:\program files (they are on my D drive). Could that be the problem? I use Windows Vista 32 bit. I had Forged Alliance beta installed when the beta was active, and I have uninstalled it since.
I can't finish the installation because of this error, so I would like to know how to get around it.|||weaponsb, thx. without you it wouldnt exist.
m277755, can you please check, that one of the following registry keys exists:
HKCU\Software\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander
HKLM\Software\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander
HKCU\Software\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance
HKLM\Software\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance
the installer checks this four keys for the existence of the value "InstallationDirectory". If it is not found, the error message is shown. So can you check this and tell me if something is spelled differently on you system.
i'll look at this as far as i can, because atm i havn't installed vista 32bit and till now i cant reproduce the behaviour with my german copies of the games. so maybe it is a language depending problem.|||I have:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander (TM)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander (TM)\1.00.0000
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance (TM)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance (TM)\1.00.0000
None of these keys are set, and there is no THQ key in my registry. I also have:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gas Powered Games
But there is no supreme commander stuff in there and again, the keys are not set. I searched my entire registry for "InstallationDirectory", but it found nothing related to Supreme Commander.
I have also found that the Supreme Commander installation does not make start menu shortcuts in Windows Vista.
Maybe you can have a dialog box to search for the supreme commander executable if this registry key is not found?|||ok. Thats the reason why it is unable to detect the installed game. But i'm irritated, because if anyone install an newer patch it checks the same registry keys so i thought it is the default installation behaviour.
Two question: Did you installed it from a DVD or is it a Direct2Drive version? Is it the english one?
To work arround this, i've written a little tool that let you configure the needed registry keys accordingly. Run it with administrative permissions.

After that run the msi installation again. It should detect the game correctly now. But keep in mind, that ReplayManager will not work if the directories arent set correctly or if the game is not installed.
download the tool here
Please let me know if it works.|||I used the dvd to install and it is the english version.
I used your program to add the keys to my registry, it worked and the version chooser installed fine after that. I installed the 3260 pack and watched a 3260 replay, which worked like a charm. Thanks|||- updated patch list with FA patch 1.50.3599 (only for detection)
- updated patch list with FA patch 1.50.3598 (now its installable)|||man, you're a quick one :)|||I'm having trouble installing the pack for .3598. Simply doubling clicking on the patches bar for .3598 opens up the window asking to install the pack, but then something happens too fast to tell. A window opens, it says something, but then disapears too quickly to read and .3598 still shows up as not installed.
If you could help me out I would appreciate it, thanks.
