A few questions and points i'd like to discuss. Some may have been asked in another thread, but i thought it prudent to start a new one with all questions in one place. I've recently got back into SupCom2 with the latest patches being released. The AI has certainly improved. But i have some concerns:
1. Why is it when the ACU is building a slew of buildings he tends to get stuck within them? I had this happen the last two games i played, as did my friend i played with. Even if i destroy the building he is still stuck in the clipping error.
2. Are there are plans to remove the need to constantly selecting an activating mass converters? It seems my energy always maxes out, i forgot to constantly convert the mass and i end up with wasted time. I use a control group for about 25 mass converters and i still run out of mass. Seems like if I've been successful in a game that I've attained 99999+ energy, i would like if it caps out and auto-converts to mass rather then making me click that button over and over.
3. Any word if new DLC is scheduled to be released soon?
4. Can anyone explain this screen shot of my research score of 'Points Earned'? This happened about 10 minutes ago.

5. And may I offer a big wet sloppy kiss to Sorian for the AI improvements in recent patches? I was frustrated with the stock AI, even made a post citing the issues i've found and stopped playing. But I since i started playing again recently, its clear this game has moved forward quite a bit.
Thank you kindly.|||1. I do not know why, but you can circumvent it by moving your commander to an "open" location, and then starting construction so he doesnt get stuck in corners. You can do this with waypoints. I dont see any other way.

Aside from constantly selecting my control group for MCs and processing the energy, are there any other tactics? Mass seems scarce at times so i over compensate with energy. There has been a number of times my reserved energy saved my life when it came to my base being nearly destroyed forcing me to hide in a allies base for a bit. 4 mass converters give you 1000 mass every 10 seconds if you have the energy for it.
It's extremely improbable that you will ever be building anything that will require you to have more mass at a single point than that, unless you have 10 sea factories going in which you build the next 4 to help out.
I usually bind my first 4 MC's to the 9 key and the next 4 to the 8 key and just remember to press them when I notice my mass amounts getting lower than 300-500 or so late game. It gets to a point where I get 5000 mass and generlaly don't need to worry about doing anything for a few minutes resource wise.
