A single P-shield will stop a single missile from a TML, and TML's fire in volleys of 2.
It takes 10 seconds for a P-shield to recharge after being downed
TML's fire 2 missiles every 10 seconds.
P-shields cost 5 RP and 58 mass (116 for 2 of them)
TML cost 6 RP and 350 mass. You can afford 6 P-shields per every TML the enemy player has.
I haven't had an oppourtunity to test this, but it seems like P-shields would be an extremely effective counter to the aeon TML rush as UEF, since the shield coverage is pretty much comperable to the range at which TMD stops missing. Iron knew P-shields could stop Illuminate TML rushing more effectively than TMD.
I told him so myself.

Its rediculous a SHIELD is better than a TMD since TML is supposed to be siege... Pshields suck up 600 damage each, remember? So 1 pshield = 1 shotja shot. If regen = RoF, then 1 Pshield neutralizes 1 shotja. This, and the fact aeon have no mobile arty, is why Pshield-Demolisher owns Aeon.|||So how exactly does that work then? Aren't P-shields more expensive than Shotyas? They take a little less time to build, but you need more mass to block an equal amount of Shotyas. And then you still don't have anything to shoot him with.
