Darkenoids Stack now?

Was just messing around in a full tech skirmish and managed to get my darkenoids to do this:

There was no trickery, no manual individual orders, just group select and rick click target. Replay is here:
http://www.gamereplays.org/supremecommander2/replays.php?game=62&show=details&id=169375|||Yeah that was like three or four patches back, now they're much more pliable.|||Yes, darkenoids are good now, which is an upgrade from being useless before.|||Well this looks like a good time to play with a mass stacked column of death does it not?|||Not only that, but they've apparently fixed the beam behavior, too.
They don't slow down too much or too early and get kited by their target anymore.
Yes, darks are baller. I'd use them over soops, personally.|||Soops can be hit by gunships whereas darks can't. That sr in that screen shot is helpless.|||You need to select them individually for best results though. So control group 1-0 for your darkenoids and then click on the enemy ACU.|||Just ctrl-move order to where their com is works well too, and drag the move arrow around.|||I must be playing a different game? Whilst sometimes Darkenoids stack for me, its pretty rare and I cant seem to get them to do it consistently. I've tried various combinations of commands, move orders, mashing etc.
I have the command line switch that reverses ctrl-move behaviour.
Also I observed a Darkenoid trailing just behind a moving Titan trying to hit it with its beam but failing to catch up.|||Try not to group them with anything else.
I haven't noticed any total failure like you had with the Titan though...but I always babysit my Darkenoids anyway so I wouldn't notice.|||I have to go Nifty on this and say that I (kind of) wish they didn't stack..
Otoh, this obviously makes them easier to use..|||This is probably not supposed to happen. Theyre still very... resistent to this, because they absolutely want to not touch eachother. But I like it, so im not complaining. You can compare it to microing AC1Ks to kite while shooting the big gun...
