Teamgame air battles are a stalemate.

I was playing today and I had a 1v1 air battle on a 3v3 and we almost did the same build (i had a few more units). I decided about 10 mins after my ally died to attack with my air and i got to his air at his base and we had an air war. Well I lost. I then looked back at my units (which i put to auto fly to the battle) and 18 were coming to help. After this I have realised that air on a teamgame is basically whoever attacks first loses because u have less units than ur opponent. This overall turns it into a stalemate. Am I wrong or does any1 agree?|||In a naive, straight out, I'll-charge-my-troops-into-your-troops, then yes probably.
Try something clever - bait him with a trap of some kind. If you read dotswarlock's fan fiction; take some inspiration from Bagby.|||So you fought over an enemy base that presumably had factory AA with an even number of fighters and you lost?
Wow, that's totally weird and definitely not something that happens every damned time and is a totally ordinary outcome!|||He didnt have aa on his factories and we both air microed. Basically what im saying is that you must fight at ur side of the map to win so it will become a stalemate and no one will attack.|||BulletMagnet|||BulletMagnet|||DaemonicKnight|||How?
