Is there any chance of a re-release of the demo to reflect the changes made in the economy since release? I think a lot of people were initially put off by the economic system, but a demo made to highlight the changes made since release would attract more attention to the game. Any thoughts?|||The demo only involves the Campaign AFAIK (does it allow limited skirmish?). The changes to Supcom 2 made since release do not affect the campaign in any noticable way.
So unfortunately, a re-release of the demo would still be almost exactly the same as the original demo.|||Actually, I think the new economy does affect the campaign. As do a few other engine changes. Patch 1.20 and 1.23 (the big patch and the eco patch) both break campaign saves, so I think there were changes there.|||Considering the game occasionally goes on sale for iphone-game-level prices, you'd have thought anyone curious would just buy the thing already.|||Free Weekend, like I suggested, oh.... months and months ago?|||Or my suggestion of "let my friend play for free in matches I am participating in, for a couple of weeks" coupons.|||AdmiralZeech
