Megalith Question for GPG but community can speculate

I'm thinking it's the possibly lack of bloom, or difference in lighting model.|||The lighting was a bit darker. I like it very much too, it gives a bit more of a serious look to sc2, since right now its just all flashy.

It could lead to some more tactical play.|||The megalith of FA was mainly useful as an amphibious unit; one of the few capable of inflicting heavy damage in and out of the water. It would clear a path through the water for the monkeylords and then help establish a beach-head. I would imagine that GPG started developing the megalith II with its predecessor in mind, but eventually removed its amphibious might, but without taking out the water vision that no longer made sense.|||I want the code to make the megalith turn into a ship and float.|||You could change the unit stats for the megalith, giving it permission to walk on water. To have it turn into a ship you could try a simple script to this effect:
-If megalith moves 2 units on water:
-Kill megalith.
-Spawn ship of your choice at coordinates of megalith.
You could do something similar to turn it back into a megalith again if it moves on to land. If it works, this probably won't look very pretty. I have no idea what the code in lua would be.|||AngryMacrophage|||Or you could just give it the same motiontype as the Cybran destroyers get from the LEGS upgrade.|||Possibly make only its hull float on teh water and the legs are under, so it looks like its swimming :lol:|||DaemonicKnight
