Enough DLC sales = 2nd DLC?

Hi GPG,
When alot of players buy the DLC, does that mean a 2nd DLC will be made?|||We have enough balance issues to last at least 6 months with DLC1.
DLC2 should either be just maps or better yet single player campaign style maps or game modes that are repayable. As Funkoff has suggested, think Survival maps or Phantom game mode.|||/agree. Enough new units for now :P
some more maps and gameplay modes.|||Ahh theres always room for new units! 8)
-Still want the equivilent to support commanders
-Seige assault bots
-A hovering ship for the Illuminate with an Oblivion cannon!
-scout bots
But yes, there are still tons of balance issues first...
The Shotja, from several accounts is op.
I'm finding the Titan/Afterburner combo is op.
The Loyalist and cybran tech tree needs a buff.
The Darkenoid, Willfindja and Kraken needs some fixing (currently they're rarely or never used).
UEF naval (IE Tigersharks) needs to be balanced a bit more.|||I agree. I am pretty satisfied with the dlc1 right now. I'd like the next DLC to be focused on new/funny game modes beside the classic skirmish , of course new and big maps and some further modifications to basic units which may give even more deepness and variety to game. First I would like to see units with second ability like the VIKING in starcraft 2 , land and air , direct or indirect fire, defense-offense setting and so on. Moreover I'd like further additions unlockable via tech tree like homing for missile launchers , secondary weapon upgrade for land/air turrets , walls , target focusing for better artillery precision , mass extractors capable of producing fast and explosive drones ... and so on ... I'd like some "new" concepts on the game.
I think the key is variety.|||I think overkill control should be implemented. It would make battles so much more balanced and would make you think about choosing quantity or quality|||Seige assault bots, thats what i am waiting for.|||ghodan|||The problem is that Fatboy II has the mobility of a minor experimental . A faster siege bot with of course less fire power would be appreciated. A nice idea would be an upgrade for the titan from the tech tree, bigger stronger and always faster than a minor experimental. That could be done for loyalists and harvogs too of course|||I would like a campaign expansion DLC that tells about what really happend with rhianne burke and maybe a return or new princess? :P|||To be honest I think no one would buy a "campaign-extension" DLC .
I think people is more interested in getting the deepest gameplay possible and of course new game modes.
Campaign was already played and forgotten , a lot of players like me didn't even finish the campaign.|||I would like an campaign expansion..|||The beauty of DLC is that GPG could do a mini campaign extension and those that would want that could buy it, while others who are only interested in the MP options could ignore it.
Thats why DLC is better than expansions for both gamers and developers.|||I think they'd be better off with a "challenge missions pack" or something like that, if they wanted a singleplayer DLC.
If you think about it, campaigns are the most expensive part of an RTS - voice actors, cutscenes, lots of scripting, etc. I dont know if it will be profitable for them to release such a thing.|||AdmiralZeech|||Just want to say that I LOVE the idea of a Risk board persistent campaign that you can play with friends over the course of several nights.|||I dont really play Supcom2, but do I buy the DLC to support GPG in the hope they will eventually do another game with the same aspirations as FA?|||vanguardlv|||With Siege assault bots / heavy bots / shock troops i mean units like:
the Brick and Percival or the sc1 Loyalists and Titan.
So troops that are NOT upgrade tech1 units.
And troops that are NOT experimental.
I really don't like how the tech 1 units (bots and tanks) get upgraded to be useful late tech / late game.
With shields , more dps , anti air blahblah. YUK!
I want dedicated heavy units (that are not experimental).
I like big wars with:
Lots of tech 1 cannon fodder.
Behind them tech3, T4 Siege assault bots/tanks.
Behind them a few experimentals.|||GPG has probably had the entire DLC thing planned out since developement.
They'll release as many DLC packs as they planned to release, and really the only thing that could be an obstacle to that would be if the first DLC totally flopped. Something that's evident within the first 24 hours.|||ghodan|||derp|||Z32|||I stand corrected.|||Z32
