d3dx9_31.dll can't find, Help please?

Cant start the game because it cant find the d3dx9_31.dll.
I am running nvidia Ge Force 8800GTX with Version 10 Direct X.
Microsoft OS Vista home Core2 duo.
If this is a version DX10 issue is their any plans to make the game compatible with version 10.
Games going back to the shop if I cant get the thing working.... pity looks good!|||Sounds like you need to install the DirectX 9.0c package (which doesn't come with Vista by default, but is still needed for old games).

Since many players are facing the problem of "d3dx9_31.dll Not Found" after logging into XMO. Here are one of the solution i found on other website may help you.
because C:\Windows\System32 doesnt have the "d3dx9_31.dll"
so you may browse to this webpage-http://dllcentral.com/d3dx9_31.dll/9.15.779.0000/download/
then "Click here to go to the download of d3dx9_31.dll" to download it.
it will automatically direct to download page, and click "Download d3dx9_31.dll", it will download the "d3dx9_31.zip" ,unzip it and paste into C:\Windows\System32

kinda weird error to occur. he must've cancelled that installation.|||yes but only what teh games needs of DX 9 it does not install the entire DX9 runtime which is kinda fail.
