So I noticed that you can mute and unmute players from the scoreboard, including players on the other team. What is the purpose of this and does this actually do anything?
Be cool if you can jest your opponents.|||It's for voice communications.|||Yes. I know its for voice. I want to know if clicking the mute/unmute button for players on the other team actually does anything.|||Then try it.
|||You should test it with someone else you know, so that you can guarantee that they're speaking. But I don't think you can hear the others.|||I have no SC wanking buddies to test with 
Actually, most of them time I'm just on teamspeak or vent so I just never got around to testing it until I actually need it to talk to the opposing team in-game.|||myeh... woulod be very very stupid if you could unmute opponents and hear what theyre saying to their team...|||Not that anyone ever uses the functionality. Except the occaisional one who seems intent on playing white noise down the mic.|||I would much rather provide the other team with my insightful whines.|||yes it works, but only in the lobby. once the game launches you can no longer hear the other team no matter what the settings.|||cyclonicfury
